Some unusual ways to die.
Mike Edwards, British founding member and cellist for the band ELO, died when a large round bale of hay rolled down the hill and smashed his car while he was out driving
Bernd-Jürgen Brandes, from Germany, was voluntarily stabbed repeatedly and then partly eaten by Armin Meiwes (who was later called the Cannibal of Rotenburg). Brandes had answered an internet advertisement by Meiwes looking for someone for this purpose. Brandes explicitly stated in his will that he wished to be killed and eaten
Lee Seung Seop, a 28-year-old from South Korea, collapsed of fatigue and died after playing the videogame StarCraft online for almost 50 consecutive hours
American author Tennessee Williams died when he choked on an eyedrop bottle-cap in his room at the Hotel Elysee in New York. He would routinely place the cap in his mouth, lean back, and place his eyedrops in each eye.
Kenneth Pinyan from Seattle, Washington, died of acute peritonitis after receiving anal intercourse from a stallion. The case led to the criminalization of bestiality in Washington state.
Garry Hoy, a 38-year-old lawyer in Toronto, fell to his death on 9 July 1993, after he threw himself against a window on the 24th floor of the Toronto-Dominion Centre in an attempt to prove to a group of visitors that the glass was "unbreakable," a demonstration he had done many times before. The glass did not break, but popped out of the window frame.

2007: Jennifer Strange, a 28-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, died of water intoxication while trying to win a Nintendo Wii console in a KDND 107.9 "The End" radio station's "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest, which involved drinking large quantities of water without urinating.

I remember both of these being on the news.
The water one was said I think, because she had kids and a husband.
Edit: Her stomach after drinking all the water

omg. When this happened it was literally everywhere for like 2 months. They haven't held in-person contests since.

One of the deaths on that wiki was a Coyote attack, and they said she's one of the only 2 to die from a coyote attack.
It says similar attacks:
In August, 1979, in La Verne, CA, a coyote attacked a 5-year-old girl. Her father and a neighbor saved the child from being dragged off, but not before she had suffered deep bites on neck, head, and legs.
In July, 1980, in Agoura Hills, CA, a coyote grabbed a 13-month-old baby by the midsection and started dragging her off. The baby suffered puncture wounds but was saved by her mother.
In June, 1996, in Los Altos, CA, a coyote grabbed a 3-year-old boy’s head and hand and began dragging him toward some bushes before he was saved by his 15-year-old brother.
In December, 2001, in San Gabriel, CA, a coyote bit 3-year-old girl in the head, grabbed her shoulder and started to drag her away, but was chased off by her father.[6]
So coyotes will randomly go up to infants, and drag them away?
Edit: Wtf @ their obsession They just randomly attack people until a family member scares them away?
