At 18, she signed to Dr. Luke's label, Kemosabe Records, and his publishing company, Prescription Songs.
At the end of 2008, Luke was working on a track with Flo Rida called "Right Round" and the two decided they needed a female hook. Luke pulled Ke$ha into the studio and within two months, "Right Round" was an international No. 1 and set a single-week record for digital sales that still stands. Suddenly Ke$ha-though she wasn't credited on the U.S. version and didn't get paid-was a hot commodity. Atlantic, home to "Right Round," had some interest, as did Jason Flom's Lava label, now at Universal. But Luke and Ke$ha ultimately decided on RCA. Luke had done a lot of work with RCA/Jive Label Group chairman/CEO Barry Weiss, whom Ke$ha found to be "ridiculously smart and driven," and she connected with RCA A&R executive Rani Hancock. "Rani doesn't ever try to censor me," Ke$ha says. "And I like being surrounded by strong, intelligent women."
NO, Kurt. It's been completely confirmed that RCA and Ke$ha get along fine, but it's Luke that is the source of all her problems. Luke calls the shots, RCA is the larger-scale distributor. I'm not even gonna bother with you if you want to keep pretending to ignore a problem that is total truth. If I could name all the things you've "denied" when they ended up being true... lmfao. Just think whatever you want I guess, but being in denial is delusional that this point.
Epic, Hollywood, Warner Bros... not sure who else
No, how are they confirmed? By austinsuxx? #freeesha
I need actual documentation about these "facts"
there has to be a few other bad ones.. but RCA is a bad one too.. I would hope she could get to a higher label if she does move

exactly.. RCA promotes her still.. I don't even know if kemosabe calls the shots or not.. It could still be RCA making the bigger calls
I do hope you are right... but after the whole mess, I wouldn't be surprised if there were legal actions
I honestly don't see it going that far. Both Luke and Ke$ha care about their careers too much to take this to court. I feel as though they will come to an agreement and RCA or Sony will re-position Ke$ha in another label. Luke probably wants nothing to do with her either though, which could be an issue as other labels may only want Ke$ha if she continued to make music with Luke.

I have no clue how everything will work out. But you have no idea what will happen. I do hope that what you say is true.. and that is definitely the easiest way out.. but you need to know that there are other ways it could go as well.. you are looking at the best outcome.. which could have her release the album end of this year early next year..
It's either you don't watch Ke$ha's interviews or you're goddamn dumb.
There are three basic things a label does:
* Promotes
* Plans Releases (singles, albums etc.)
* Releases
Since it's been confirmed that Dr Luke plans the releases (when Ke$ha said that Dr. Luke wanted TiK ToK), all thats left is promotion and releases. That means RCA does those. Both of those have to be funded.
Therefore, RCA funds the artists on Luke's label and RCA has no control over releases on Kemosabe.
Since Luke has control over his artist's careers, if he drops them, RCA has no say. RCA will easily see if Luke drops Ke$ha. Ke$ha will look like talent and big money, because of her top ten hits. Therefore, there is a big possibility that RCA might sign Ke$ha onto the big label.
Ke$ha will leave rehab in approximately a month (2 months in total will hopefully do it for her), and take some more time off after that for vacation. Not that much though, a week or two probably.
After that, she'll be aching to get back to work in some way, so she needs to settle her business with Luke, Kemosabe and RCA. This could be over with quickly if Luke and her both unanimously decide to part ways, she manages to cough up the money she may or may not need to get out of whatever contract she has, and either signs directly to RCA or can even move to another label. Whatever works for her and them.
And if it isn't going to be that easy, then upon realizing she won't get out that quickly, she'll just have to resort to mixtapes, uncredited features etc. for now. I don't know if RCA or Kemosabe care if she does that as long as she's not credited. If they do, then it probably wouldn't be a good idea, but let's assume they don't give a **** as long as she receives no earnings from it.
In that case, one of the first things she could do is record demos for herself in her home studio (and maybe leak some of them? ), and jump on collabs with other artists. Uncredited, but still. I remember she has said that she wants to do Lip$ha either way, for example. So she could do that.
So even if things don't go that smoothly with Luke and RCA, if she recovers well and gets back up to speed by the time spring comes around (or April or so), we might have new music by the end of summer or early fall.

Use your brain, Kurt.
Not at all.. For example, in her MCBL, when she sent Machine Gun Love, Luke wasn't the one that decided that it was on or off the album.. she never mentioned a name, but why would it be luke deciding in that way? It obviously wasn't..
Luke might have wanted Tik Tok, but the label probably still has other means of deciding... There is no CONCRETE fact that luke is the one that calls all the shots.. it's just all of you just assuming he does..
The only thing we know 95% that luke did, is call Ke$ha a fridge, and that is via her mom.. other then that, there is no proof on how much control luke has...
I know what you say is a possibility, but there is no concrete fact.. so you can shut it assuming you know how it works

Very optimistic..
I hope she doesn't have to resort to mixtapes though

Give me proff that he doesn't decide that...
It's his label, for ****s sake. Obviously he makes the decisions.

No he does not.. She said,

I really like the rock and role vibe of Machine Gun Love, but my record label has final say on what songs make the album. Unfortunately, they think that Machine Gun Love is too different from the sound that I am known for; It's not pop enough.
Luke isn't the record label. Kemosabe, which is PART OF RCA is.. They can not be luke, not only is they plural, but Ke$ha would have said "someone that I work with" for luke.. your speculation is FLAWED
