FLOWERS DELIVERED TO TRIBECA HOME

Rumors that Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles plan to tie the knot are as omnipresent as their No. 1 hits, but this time, it looks like it's the real deal for music's most powerful couple.
Not only did the duo take out a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY, this week, but today a large array of flowers and candelabras arrived at Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment and a tent was being put up on the roof of his building.
This meshes perfectly with the long-held theory that the duo would marry on 4/4/08 because both of their birthdays fall on the fourth (hers in September, his in December) and Beyonce and 40/40 Club-owner Jay-Z reportedly got 4/4/08 tattooed on their ring fingers while in Paris this past December.
Also meshing with the "four" scheme, "The Insider" reported that the roman numeral "IV" would play a major part in the decor.
Their reportedly small wedding will consist of just 30 people, keeping with the intense secrecy that has surrounded Beyonce and Jay-Z's entire courtship, since 2002.

Is the biggest hip-hop wedding of the year about to go down? That's the rumor floating around New York after Jay-Z and Beyoncé reportedly invited friends over for a bash at his house tonight. "Jay has invited some close friends, including Diddy, to his apartment in New York," a source tells the New York Daily News. "He hasn't said if it's for his wedding."
The music mogul was also spotted in Toronto partying like there's no tomorrow - bachelor party, anyone? Then "Extra" spied former Destiny's Child singer -- and potential bridesmaid -- Michelle Williams in New York last night!
Now there are whispers that Beyoncé's dad, Matthew, is getting ready to sell wedding pics. The Daily News says he started to chat up celebrity magazines on Monday, asking, "How much are you offering?"
The Daily News says that friends Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Jermaine Dupri are already in the Big Apple.
The superstar couple has been dating since 2003. Reps for both had no comment.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé to Wed in Manhattan Tonight?
Unless Ashton Kutcher is punking the media again, it appears Jay-Z and Beyoncé may be getting married after all.
The Daily News is reporting a celebration is planned at the couple's NYC apartment tonight; either Jay-Z is celebrating his $150 million deal with Live Nation, or the two are finally tying the knot. While sources are mum, word is that Diddy was invited over to the apartment along with some other close friends tonight; Beyoncé's Connect Four partner, Kanye West, is also in town.
Beyoncé's father (Mathew) has reportedly been in talks with a celebrity weekly about wedding pictures, as well.
"Mathew first started talking about wedding photos on Monday," a magazine insider told The News. "He said, 'How much are you offering?' There has been a back-and-forth since then, but he has not revealed the date. He is definitely talking about there being wedding pictures."

For Beyoncé and Jay-Z, April showers brought flowers – and a possible wedding. On a rainy Friday in New York City, crews delivered floral arrangements, candelabras and a tent into Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment building.
The wedding buzz began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday. "It's [happening] tonight," says a source. "A lot of their friends are booking hotel rooms."
Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of flowers and party rentals.
More evidence of an impending wedding? Likely guests have been gathering in New York. Producer Rodney Jerkins, who is working on Beyoncé's new album and is a friend of Jay-Z's, zipped into town a couple of days ago. Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, are also here, coyly divulging in a YouTube video that they are camped out at a Manhattan hotel, giggling about "sisters" getting together.
And of course, there's Jay-Z, who reportedly hopped a flight from Boston, where he performed last night, to New York this morning.
Friends of the couple say they are very eager for the nuptials to happen. "It's about time," says producer Dallas Austin. "I think it's great that they're getting married."

We've all been waiting eagerly to see whether the much-rumored Jay-Z/Beyonce wedding would actually go down today - but it looks like we've gotten our answer!
Our photographer in New York tells us that, while nobody's caught sight of the couple yet, a crowd of forty to fifty photographers has congregated outside the suspected location. They all seem pretty confident it's definitely happening today, presumably around 6 PM on t - guess we'll just have to wait and see if we can catch a glimpse of the happy couple together!
But the crazy news is that this might not even be the couple's last wedding - In Touch is reporting that the pair plan to have another ceremony in France in a month's time!
Naturally, we'll bring you any news on this story as soon as we get it - stay tuned!
Congrats to Jay and B - if the wedding actually goes down, of course!

After years of speculation, singer Beyoncé Knowles wed her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE.
Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
The wedding buzz began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday.
DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin. "Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for the Jay Z and Beyoncé's wedding party to happen," says the friend.

A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world.
Still, marriage seemed to be in the cards – eventually. "I never pictured myself as a bride," she told Cosmopolitan in January 2006, "but after my sister's wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I'd want. I don't think I want a big one."

Looks like it's official!
Sources tell Usmagazine.com that Jay-Z and Beyoncé tied the knot at the rapper's apartment in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood Friday night, although their reps will not confirm.
Former Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were among the guests who attended the ceremony. A Reverend was also spotted.
The singer donned a veil and a white dress with a low V-neck and thick straps. Her hair was in a half ponytail with ringlet curls, decorated with a white flower.
The party was still going strong at 3 a.m. this morning.
Beyoncé's father, Mathew Knowles, spoke about his daughter's nuptials in business meetings Friday.
"Beyoncé's dad said he's sorry he couldn't have invited [more people] to the wedding, but they're keeping it small," a source close to the family tells Usmagazine.com.
Early Friday, white checked linens were delivered, as well as boxes of white flowers. Tall silver candelabras were stacked on the street. A white tent was visible on the roof of the building.
Why wed on April 4? They're obsessed with the number!
The rapper named his club 40/40 after a baseball term. (If a player hits 40 home runs and steals 40 bases in the same season, it’s considered a major coup.)
The couple also have matching IV tattoos on their ring fingers, and they were each born on the fourth day of a month (Beyoncé on September 4; Jay-Z, December 4).
Jay-Z, 38, and Beyoncé, 26, have always dodged questions about tying the knot.

In 2007, the always tight-lipped rapper would only tell reporters: "One day soon — let's leave it at that."

April 6, 2008 -- The day after their alleged wedding, Beyoncé and Jay-Z weren't exactly the picture of honeymoon bliss.
Instead, "the Jigga Man" was jetting off to a concert in North Carolina.
A black Cadillac Escalade registered to Jay-Z, a k a the Brooklyn-born Shawn Carter, rolled into Teterboro Airport yesterday at about 4:25 p.m., creating a small window of opportunity for him to make the 7:30 p.m. concert in Greensboro.
"President Carter," the rapper's nickname ever since he took over the reins of Def Jam Recordings in 2005, and his entourage were en route to the latest stop on the "Heart of The City" tour that he's headlining with R&B star Mary J. Blige.
"Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B," Blige shouted before breaking into her hit song "You're All I Need."
Jay and Beyoncé reportedly had an intimate wedding and reception Friday night at his TriBeCa loft.

MediaTakeOut.com is hearing whispers that on Thursday night - Mary J Blige and Jay Z will have a special guest at their Heart of the City concert - Mrs. Beyonce Knowles herself.
Word on the street is that the concert, which is taking place Houston - Beyonce's hometown, will be their "official" coming out as husband and wife. Wonder if Jay Z will kiss the bride .....
