This has been around for quite a while.
For those that are lazy, what it does is:
* Scares the actual **** out of you at a random time by collapsing the screen and showing the message
* It encrypts ALL the media files on your PC.
* You can't remove it like the normal FBI ransomware (I had it and removed it 2 years ago)
* If you do manage to unlock from the message, all of your files are encrypted with a DIFFERENT code, so it's literally impossible to get your files back.
* It does in fact give you your files back after paying the ransom.
* The reason why it's bad, is because the only and best option is to pay (unless you have no media files, lol) if you want your files back.
Just imagine what cyber criminals are going to do next with this discovery.
