I'm really fed up with all this thing. Before Milonov and other dumbasses starting the topic with uneducated wording of the law, nobody cared about LGBT, like, live how you want! Now it's becoming a mainstream to brag about "homophobic Russia", like, it's no homophobia (if not much more) in any other country, but just not so talked about. (again, the law is about not informing young children who aren't ready to accept the information about LGBT - the aim itself is not that bad, but the reasoning and realization are... reading the formula, you can't help but thinking LGBT is something abnormal)
I guess, some Russian gays can feel like they are supported because of this media coverage. At the same time, simple people, who might support LGBT, are getting irritated by this exhausting amount of "fight-injustices-in-Russia-support-Russian-LGBT"-thing all over their timelines. This is what sounds like massive propaganda. Like... aren't there national, sexual minorities all over the world treated badly? What about crime? What about economic problems, leaving so many people suffer? Why the hell only Russia, why LGBT? And all these people making prejudices about Russian people in general - that's unfair.
I'm glad the caption under the video points the real message: no hate, be tolerant, support minorities all around the world.
