I'm just gonna go ahead share this here as it's been blowing up in my instagram feed (as I follow a lot of Brazilian gays )

From what I gather this is a milestone for the LGBT community in Brazil because there has never been a gay kiss on broadcast television before. This is from the ending episode of a soap opera which just aired.

I've never had it in my country but I hope it happens someday.

there was some kisses already, but this one is huge because the brodcaster is big in here and it was like 9PM

It's not actually the first, but it's the first between two men and even greater it's the first in the biggest TV network.
I'm so happy for my country!

I always thought Brazil was ultra-gay friendly. I've read so many times about Brazil having one of the highest % of people being ok with homosexuality

you kidding right? I mean, I love Brazilians but same-sex marriage, adoption by same-sex couples and the right to change gender has been legal in Argentina since 2010.
And this is one (out of many) of our soap-operas showing gay love. "Botineras" 2009-2010. They play 2 soccer players.




and the next one is from "Verano del 98"(Summer of '98) a Soap-opera for teenagers. Is way lighter but it was in 1998 AND for teen audience, so...
