Have you tried closing the app or restarting your phone? Or reseting your browser history and cookies?

Don't worry, you're not the only one with this problem. Quite a lot of people have mentioned it recently.

Athens and the other administrators are aware of this issue and are currently working on fixing it.
It's hard because the issue is with our ad partners and not ATRL directly. (or iOS)

but a way to temporarily fix it is disabling JavaScript, although that might cause problems when visiting sites who use it

I just realized you said ANYTHING, I thought you meant on ATRL. If it's happening on every single website you visit, then I'm not sure. Do you have another tab open with a page that may have ads and/or redirect you? You could closing Safari completely through the app manager, restarting your phone and then giving it a go.

This happened to me once so what I did was that I put my phone on guided access mode and the phone will lock you into the app ur in (safari) so instead of it jumping into the App Store it's gonna prompt you and u just push cancel! Just set up guided access in the settings message me if I need more help

Like I said, the admins have been working vigorously at trying to fix the issue, but they have to work with the ad supplier and what not, so I'm not sure how long it'll take for the redirecting ads to get weeded out.

For now, I'd go with RudeBoy93's recommendation of using Guided Access until the problem ads are terminated. A bit inconvenient if you switch apps a lot, but I guess that's the price of getting to use such a brilliant website.

If you don't use Safari for anything outside of ATRL then turning off JavaScript would work too, and probably be less annoying. You can disable it by going to Settings > Safari and turning JavaScript off.

I downloaded the ad blocker app and browse atrl that way.

Mobile Devices aren't good with PopUps.
I suggest going to your settings and doing turning on the "open new windows in background "option. It worked for me
