On April 4th 1968, a great man was killed, and didn't deserve too. Let's all pay our respects to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr who died way too young.

Truly a man who died before his time. Imagine the things that may have happened had he been alive still.

CNN gave a documentary on it last night. Very sad to watch.

Our society today is an abridged, incomplete version of the way it should have been. Sadly, America, and possibly the world as well, will never be as functional and cohesive as it would have been had this man's life not been cut short.

Dr. King He was such an inspiration to not only the Black Community but the whole of the World. He stood up for what he believed in, and look how far it's come. Their is only so many heroes come along in the time that we have, and he certainly was one of them ! If he was still around today he would be my icon, I would aspire to be him, and I would hope that I turn out to be as good a human being as he was.

Many people had his beliefs but he was the only one with the courage to stand up for them. He stood up for equality and without him, who knows what our country (or world) would be like today.

I, honestly, believe that MLK was the single most influential and most important person in America in the 20th century. This country would be a HELL of a lot different without his efforts and his courage.
