I guess her team thought that they can't maximize profits if they tour to Europe in this era, but what if LP5 flops ? Touring is a way to increase the fanbase, it doesn't always have to be sold-out concerts, if she'd tour to Europe i think that'd have been better for increasing her fanbase in Europe.

For Turkey, The Grammys had almost 0 (maybe even negative ) impact. Red is currently #101 on Itunes. During the show, you must see all the hate comments, especially the women in their 20's or 30's really hate Taylor here and they affect the people in their network, of course. (Unforutnately, Turkish music media doesn't support Taylor so much here, too, maybe because they know that she won't tour here )

However her Victoria's Secret performance made a huge positive impact here, it aired on New Year's Eve and so many people watched it, it reached the ratings like SuperBowl in the US. I didn't check Itunes at that time, but IKYWT is currently #48 on Itunes here. (and WANEGBT is #84)

A whole country can't possibly dislike Taylor Swift. There's just haters there and there because a true superstar is polarizing.

They will only be loved and truly valued by the time of their death imo.

All I want for this era is an ATW release not because to boost sales but just to see the song fly.

Not the whole country, but based on my observations; young women usually hate Taylor Swift here, even Miley Cyrus is more liked compared to Taylor for them.

Other people:
Teenage girls: Not surprisingly, they love Taylor, there are some haters (aka Directioners) but interestingly, so many Directioners here also like Taylor.
Men: They usually love Taylor, of course they find her beautiful or sexy, but some minor part of men dislike her, saying that 'she is repelling' (i think they are also affected by the hate comments in their netweorks)
Older people: They usually don't know Taylor, but if they know, they usually like her.

Media: Unfotrtunalely, i think Turkish media is even worse than US media for Taylor Swift, for instance before the Grammy ceromony, the commentators totally dragged Taylor

So, in general maybe a lot of people like Taylor here, however, during the award shows twitter is full of hate comments unfortunately. And the prestigious media is always offish for Taylor.

I think it's because the bad media came first before the music. Eventually, people will change their minds 'cause Taylor Swift is transparent of who she is, it's just not yet accepted that she's not gonna have a meltdown. The woman is strong and handles herself very well.

I think the picture of lots of papers Taylor Swift tweeted saying she's writing a song before RED era is ATW.

It was a LOT of paper so I'm assuming it is 'cause she said, it could've been 10 mins. long
