I mean, obviously Madonna, but Billy Joel has had some really memorable hits, too: Piano Man, Uptown Girl, We Didn't Start the Fire, The Longest Time, etc.

I actually prefer Billy's music over Madonna, but she definitely has more memorable hits.

but in reality, in the real world, Billy Joel has more memorable songs.

I would say it's pretty even. But Billy Joel is like one of three American artists my parents listen to so I'll vote for him.
