No you don't Last Summer, my city was a huge mess because of how much rain we got. We usually only get 16 inches of rain each year, so when it started pouring 40+ inches of rain a day, the city just shut down and we didnt know what to do. It was so scary...I though it was the end

I guess it's the same situation as Atlanta. They just don't usually deal with 2 inches of snow, so it was a mess.

It reminds me EXACTLY of Raleigh in 2005, and we had a half inch.We up here in NC learned our lesson and Brined the roads BEFORE the storm.Georgia still has some learning to do.

They stranded like people were a couple years on Lake Shore Drive from ACTUAL foots of snow. Smh. And seeing how this winter has been throughout the country, why wasn't the city of Atlanta prepared for this little ****?

Midwest states in Tornado Alley: Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota (the rest are Oklahoma and Texas which are SOUTHERN). I'm not counting any of those states as ****ing "Northern US"

Now, had a EF3 and up happen (FREQUENTLY) in any state other than TORNADO ALLEY, you would have a point.

Fact: Southern states deal with Tornados and Hurricanes 10x more frequently than other states. Northern states deal with Snow and Ice 10x more frequently than other states. Both know how to prepare for what happens frequently.

I know it's because it doesn't snow much there, but it's just so bizarre looking at pictures. It really looks like nothing But we can't handle the heat or storms like the South can.

Also, even though people are talking about the snow, we know black ice is the problem. It always happens when it snows.. Are they not salting the roads over there?

And as for the heat, you have to realize the South is Hot AND Humid.
