I think the bigger picture is more important here, when Kim Kardashian is mentioned people don't think of the cultural norms she's challenging, they think of her reality show or her *** tape. Unless she gets a class dedicated to her feminist views like Mrs. Carter, I don't see her image changing anytime soon.

i feel like the kim cover would look cheap if it were just a headshot, unless it looked something like the CR fashion book. easily one of my favourite kim photoshoots, but not very sellable nor vogue.

By using the internet, social media, and taking advantage of cable networks that have low enough standards to constantly maintain a media presence. Her family's tv shows aren't big ratings earners, which is why they would never survive on network tv, but a stantion like E! doesn't have to have shows that meet the same ratings benchmarks as network television. So, they're always on tv.

Her family is also in bed with certain tabloid magazines.

Kim's fame isn't the result of changing cultural norms, because she's not the world's first talentless socialite. There are just more platforms and opportunities availed to her now that either weren't available before for those other talentless socialites or weren't as ubiquitous.

So, I agree with the majority. Aint nothing to see here, and hopefully Anna maintains the integrity of American Vogue by not putting her on the cover.
