I'm not saying all TF performances were poor - they were great for the time. It was all new and exciting, with us all still getting to know who this crazy Lady Gaga phenomenon was.

But that was then. We know who she is now. The novelty is gone, so she can't get away with being that "basic" anymore. We expect different things and hold her to a much higher standard.

Dope at the YouTube Music Awards was her best performance of the era so far. The raw emotional was just so palpable and believable.

Couldn't really get into Swinefest or ArtRAVE...

that's exactly it though. we've seen what she's capable of, which is where I think a lot of the backlash from the fans comes from. she set the bar SO high for both herself and the pop world, and now that we've gotten less and less of that same energy from her it gets a bit frustrating at times.

I have no doubt she's going to come back strong though since she says that she and her team are 100% back on track behind the scenes. now it's just a waiting game to see the results

Swinefest wasn't bad, I just wasn't connecting with it myself.

And Dope's being over the top? Well, she had just broken it off with Troy, someone who wasn't just her manager, but someone she viewed as a true friend.

I would be so here for MTV Unplugged by Gaga. I already have the cover concept in my head, it would be set in regal room and the focus would be on a big beautiful piano in the middle, and around it would be various of her 'iconic' props, The Fame wig, sunglasses, Telephone hat, piss-wig, Venus-wig, prostethics, a disco stick, a nod to her meat dress etc. She herself would not be on the cover.

The first single would be a clean version of Dope that replaces "****ed" with "screwed" and rewrote the "I need you more than dope" line, and the vocals would be better and more pleasant on this version compared to the ARTPOP studio version.
