Lol well the situations were different. If she took those roles there wouldn't have been a Velvet Rope or All For You Tour. She turned those films down to tour. She had already scrapped plans to tour for 20 Y.O. so she had nothing to lose by taking those Tyler Perry roles. Also Janet did explain in a 1998 radio interview of what she was saying at the end of Go Deep. She said she's saying "belayer" Belayers are the ones who hold the ropes when you're rock climbing. Janet said for her it means those who have your back and those you truly trust.
