IDKY ppl love "Same Love" so much yet they bashed "Born This Way" to Hell and back. "Same Love" is one of the cheesiest songs I've ever heard last year and yet Born This Way got the flack
"Same Love" is embarrassing, overwrought, and tries too hard to make a statement while "Born This Way" is fun, feel-good, and you don't have to be a homosexual to relate to it.
BTW had similar musical elements to Express Yourself, a song that was created by someone who was constantly pitted against GaGa.. Same Love doesn't suffer from the same fate.

At least Macklemore didn't down tone his song and tried to make it radio friendly but failed miserably. Same Love is what it is, a song supporting Gay rights. Not a song initially-supporting-Gay-rights-turned-into-pretentious-preaching-"spread-the-love"-song-that-no-one-likes-and-relates-to.
