Starting things off with the biggest bang ever! Beyonce and Jay Z kicked off the Grammys 2014 inside L.A.'s Staples Center Sunday, Jan. 26 with a performance that'll be difficult to top. Although rapper Jay Z, 44, is the one up for multiple statues this year for his Holy Grail album, Blue Ivy's mom and dad selected a duet-track from Beyonce's late-December surprise album, "Drunk in Love" for their set.
It has a relatively decent increase on iTunes...I think she just needs to begin her promotion of the song. Sending this to pop radio would be a start. It's still number one on urban with no competition in sight...with Dark Horse slaying, I can't see her getting to number one on BB...but a top five is manageable if she gives us some promo before returning to touring...
I guess it was a good performance but for a Beyoncé performance, it was boring. Ass all in my face and I was still underwhelmed. Expectations are higher for her.
It was one of the best performances.
And you can't say she was lipsynching when she was rapping acapella. There was obviously a sound issue, that's why she removed her earpiece
