I don't wanna turn this thread into all about Adele's career, so I'll just keep it short. You guys sound just as silly as monsters saying Gaga was the NEW QUEEN OF POP, NEVER WILL FAIL based on just TFM/a string of hugely successful singles.
Until Adele puts out two more albums (yes, two, because Norah did 1m first week and 12M overall with her follow-up; it wasn't until the one after that that a major decline became evident) with huge sales and more Grammy-knockouts, there is no definitive proof that she will always win everything, beat everyone, and never slip up.
At least we can say that Y&B has a possibility of winning.
I want Skyfall to win. It would close the circle for the song after the Oscar, the Golden Globe, the World Soundtrack Award, Brit Award, Critics' Choice Award etc.
And Y&B was critically acclaimed + the Oscar argument makes no sense since Lana hasn't yet competed in the category (but probably will this year).
Yesterday people would've called me delusional if I said Justin wasn't walking away with AOTY (or at least another big award), and now look: he isn't even nominated Anything could happen
I honestly think Lana has a good shot.

Every streak has its end Seriously though, if the logic was "people who have swept multiple categories before ALWAYS win everything in the future!!!!" the Grammys would be totally predictable... which is why they do indeed switch it up (eg. Taylor will continue to be nominated for AOTY with each of her albums, but probably not win it again any time soon).
And I'm not that delusional for thinking she could at least be nominated for the Oscar, a quick Google search showed me that many top sites think she's a good contender
Adele is obviously the favorite for the award, but to say that there's NO way Lana will win is just silly Actually Coldplay could just as easily take this category.
Looks like you'll have to wait for that streak to end. Maybe next year.
