Precisely. The number of Bey stans all of a sudden after her commercial explosion this era is nearly laughable - if ARTPOP did that there would be no dragging of 95% of the material on it. Becuase this era isn't a commercial powerhouse and 2 million looks like the tally for ARTPOP's album sales count doesn't mean we need to drone on and on about the flopping, and it really doesn't merit 10 Gaga threads asking for hate everyday.

She's being outsold by Beyonce and Katy this time around, we've understood that for weeks now. We can LOL and meltdown over new things as they happen, but the nonstop flop criticizing means you're not here for the music and so Bey's ship awaits for you this era.

IDK why I was thinking about Gaga today at the gym, but I was wondering what her career would be like if Alexander McQueen never died. Would the music be the same? How would the BTW era have looked? ARTPOP? I remember her saying that she wrote a lot of TFM while watching muted fashion shows (his included), so he obviously had a huge impact on her. Just food for thought.
