Seemed to me it was planned to be the 5th single. Ryan Tedder said it was going to be one after RHI, but I think they said they want the public to really want her next album. Also that borderline over exposure held TT back.

I can't believe that. SFTTR was my favorite track of the album since first listen.

It reminds me of When I Was Your Man actually, only it isn't as whiny, poorly-written or annoying as WIWYM.
