NONE of us earned nearly $100 million dollars at the age of 19, where no one really has to tell us what to do. He worked and toured for those years there is no denying he was far from lazy to earn the substantial amount he has so far. He grew up in a false sense of reality that we as normal folk , we deal with hard earned life situations on a day to day basis. Not the celebrity lifestyle like he has grown up in.
So unless we walked a mile in his shoes, WHO are we to judge how his mental state is, with people chasing you down 24/7, and having to portray an image that most likely IS NOT who you truly are? I can only fathom, and that's why people can 'boo-hoo' celebs and mock them all they want..
but could you imagine? No, because your life has never had to deal with such a different path that not many have the opportunity to take. Ya we could say all we want "I would NEVER be like that if I were just as famous", but c'mon now. You would never know unless you lived it.

Lol I'm not going to sit here feeling sorry for Justin Bieber. He might have a cross to bear but that doesn't make HIS issues any more important than anyone else struggling maybe with school, jobs, growing in poverty, being in foster homes or being sick.
He is a famous singer. He is not someone to be pitied. He's had more opportunities than most kids can DREAM of. This behaviour of his started in 2012-2013. And regardless of upbringing, EVERYONE knows the difference between right and wrong. And about judging others, our whole justice system is based on passing judgements on others and holding people accountanble for their **** ups.

Um it isn't.
People treated Lindsay The same, and they treated britney even worse, let's not.
It also doesn't help that his age makes him seem like a total brat,

Oh trust me, I know. And I thought that was really wrong. I definitely don't agree with the way people in this forum handled that. She was clearly going through something very serious and it clearly wasn't just a "breakdown" it was much more.

Y'all acting like being young, rich and not obnoxious is so impossible. Lorde is set for life. I don't see her egging Selena's hut. I mean, whom above the age of 13 eggs houses anyway?

People already had unwarranted hate for Justin,
and now that he's caught up in controversy they have something to use against him.

Again, YES he is partial blame, well majority, since he IS an adult and can decide right from wrong, but again, until you LIVED that lifestyle, what gives you the right to judge what it really IS like? The ratio of child starts turning out normal is VERY slim to none.

MTE, lol. I don't see the guys from One Direction acting like brats. And like I said, even Miley is smart enough to not drive under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

It's one thing to have a bad attitude towards other artists' music. It's another thing to completely disregard other people and their safety, just because you have money.

Obviously you weren't here in 2006 because Britney and Lindsay were dragged to the pits. Lindsay is still dragged and the same goes to Amanda.
I remember there was an anti-britney thread in 2007 here in ATRL during her messy days.

I understand your point completely, but I don't think that his success should excuse his behavior. There are plenty of people who have made just as much money as him at a young age but haven't resorted to the behavior he has. "With great power comes great responsibility" may be cliché, but I think the message rings true in this case. Justin has certainly worked hard and made more money than most of us will ever see, but with all of that fame and success comes a lot of responsibility. If he is having trouble coping with the fame, he certainly has the money to take time off and seek the help that he needs. Take Ke$ha, for example. She succumbed to the pressures of the industry, but instead of acting out and putting others in danger by being reckless, she took some time off and is seeking help for the problems she has been struggling with, which shows just how strong she is. Justin has shown no remorse for anything he has done. It would be one thing if he showed that he was at least trying to get his life back in order, but instead he just keeps making things worse for himself. I agree that nobody should be judging him, but his success is no excuse for his behavior. Justin wanted the fame and the fortune, and now he is going to have to learn to deal with the consequences of that lifestyle.

Why should I have had to live a lifestyle to call someone out for acting like a spoiled brat? Answer me that. I'm going to call a spade a spade. If a POOR guy goes out and drives drunk and high and kills someone, are you telling me because I didn't grow up in poverty, I can't call him a dumbass for driving drunk?

How is rihanna doing #clapbacks on Instagram or Amanda Bynes saying crazy things on twitter the same as peeing in buckets ppl use to clean floors, egging houses, assaulting paps, driving wrecklessly through a residential neighborhood several times, and drag racing under the influence of drugs and alcohol without a valid license and more????
When Amandas actions escalated ppl realized she needed help and stopped finding what she was doing funny and rihanna being snarky/shady is not the same as breaking the law and constantly getting away with it.

My fave doesn't do any of that **** And Rih may do drugs and drink, but she isn't endangering other ppl's lives like Bieber was. I mean, DUI is like the #1 cause of automobile deaths
