Your Ideal American Idol Panel?
So as we all know, the latest season of American Idol has lacked alot of viewers and sizzle compared to last years Season (but that was for multiple reasons), so my question to you is:
What would be your ideal panel?
Take into consideration:
- Past Judges
- Artists that have been guests before.
- Artists that have a certain personality/aura to them & who they'd get on with & who would clash.
Discuss...

Mariah is actually the perfect judge. She has the credibility, the receipts, the respect, the experience, musical knowledge and knows quite a lot about marketing/the industry. The whole situation was just really bad

Well, the show needs different artists with different voices and experiences working with different genres. I think Keith Urban is a good judge for American Idol. He's got humor, he's a nice person, and he's talented enough and has the musical intellect to help the contestants grow musically. So, I'd keep him. I'd add Chester Bennington of Linkin Park because he has a raspy voice that he can do a lot of different things with, and he's the lead singer of one of the biggest rock groups out there right now. I'd add P!nk, because again, she can do a lot with her voice and she's insanely talented and is musically intelligent enough to help the contestants and provide constructive criticism and suggestions. And then maybe someone like Alicia Keys? Musically, they're all very different (Keith is country, Chester is rock, P!nk is pop, and Alicia is R&B / Soul), but they're all talented and experienced enough to be able to help the contestants grow as artists. And I feel like P!nk would be absolutely hilarious as a judge, too. She'd make a lot of remarks that would just make everyone laugh their asses off.

Kelly Rowland, Gwen Stefani, Harry Connick Jr... and Reba? It'd be good to have a wide variety of genres on the coaching panel who have wits/charm and vocal ability.

None of that translated through her critics. It was super frustrating
