britney when she arrived had a great voice i mean real good, now not so much, mm lets see britney is known for her crazy dancing, her huger 83 millions albums and counting, she practically wrote every song on In the Zone, and wrote 5 but only 2 made it on blackout, britney plays the piano, and makes beats. yeah i don't think just because rihanna made one hit single, all of sudden she is the new britney, because from what i know britney is still making singles.

yah, Rihanna and Britney are two totally different people, I mean Rihanna has already had 2 #1s on Billboard (compared to Britney lol). But yah, Rihanna's success is based more on singles while Britney can sell more albums. And I think Tedder meant more on the basis of how they are both now household names and just like Britney, they are both so unique that practically no one can be compared to their distinct styles
Britney was more popular in her 1st year of fame then Rihanna has in her whole 3 years.
