I can tell you for a fact that 99% of this perceived power-madness is entirely constructed within the collective consciousness of ATRLers, and has no actual support at all. It's very rare that I've seen a moderator get heated over something and, or for any other reason, distribute an unfair warning intentionally - no specific cases stand out to me at all. There's also a reason we have so many moderators - for example, it would be awfully hard for me to give someone a warning without good reason when they could easily show the entire team what happened and get me reprimanded or dropped from the team entirely. Why would we risk our positions and our ability to help the site? I'm a moderator because I want to contribute to the site when I can and make it operate more smoothly, not to boost my own already-inflated ego. The same applies to all the rest of the moderators (besides the inflated ego part, I'm the only one of us who's got that affliction). I understand that you sometimes see things as a member that
appear to indicate wrongdoing on our part, but if you really think about it, there's no motivation behind being corrupt in the first place because it would just jeopardize our standing as moderators and members of ATRL.
