5 contestants compete for 1 WildCard Tour Spot (12th 11th 3 others from the top 24). The double-result show will take place on Thursday. Voting might be free or AI might charge $0.10 (or more) for each vote. All proceeds will go directly to the IGB charity.

IGB has been extended to 2 hours and 30 minutes to make room for more Could this be a sign that they are giving the go ahead??

A tour spot is very lucrative. USA Today reports that it is at least a 6 figure salary ($100,000). They might want to have it because WildCard Tour winner = selling more tickets for the tour.

The contestants will compete during Idol Gives Back, and be chosen during Thursday’s elimination show…

The rumor has been confirmed by Idol Spoiler Joesplace, who knows the skinny…

She's pretty much for sure going to be that group of 5, even if it'll be near impossible for her to beat out Noriega or Overmyer in the end.

Oh god are you kidding me? Well if this is true than out of those Asia deserves it the most. She was very talanted & deserves to be given a 2nd chance out all of them, & seeing Danny winning? seeing this list, they are bunch of much more talented people that deserves it way more than Danny I'm sorry but that's my personal opinion, I don't think he's that good to be given a 2nd chance, people are just voting for him out of popularity, I mean come on, Danny beating out Asia? are you kidding me? Asia should be in the lead.This poll is NOT "who is the most popular contestant" & seeing Danny winning, people actually think that Danny is the most talanted out of all of the others? :-\ & don't get me wrong, I do like Danny, I just don't think he deserves to be given a 2nd chance, from what I see in the list, their people in that list that deserve it more, but their losing because Danny is the most popular.

This is my personal strong opinion, about how I feel, so any of you's don't you dare attack me.

Agreed but if the money from the "paid voting" goes to charity, at least it is for a good cause.

They can't sell more tickets to the tour. Every venue they go to sells out.

A "wildcard" twist for the tour? That's so stupid, like anyone really wants to vote David The First Ousted or Amanda or any of the nitwits who had no business in the Top 24 to begin with to the tour.

Maybe as punishment 19Evil and FOX will allow the "winner" to HOST the show and, say, not sing. That would be evilicious and wonderous ^_^

No. I think it's unfair.

Amanda and Asia should at least get in.

Amanda deserves it out of all of them and she isn't even my favourite, it's just the fact she got further in the competition than the rest of them, they were all voted out fairly but she still beat the others that previously got voted out, so y'know, there is my view on it.

Maybe I'm different, but I think Alaina Whitaker should get the wildcard thingy although maybe she isn't THAT famous, but it's just sooooo wrong when she got voted off.
But Danny is the most possible who would win this wildcard.

From top 24, I'd pick Alaina Whitaker, Danny Noriega and Kady Malloy.

Amanda didnt even want to be there. She has talked **** about AI since she got kicked off. So she doesnt deserve it.
