The NFL has announced its lineup for the Super Bowl pregame show.
"American Idol" victor Phillip Phillips and country music act The Band Perry will play the show on Feb. 2. Their appearances will be filmed at the NFL Tailgate Party, hosted by Meadowlands Racetrack near MetLife Stadium.
Singers from the Broadway musicals "Jersey Boys" and "Rock of Ages" will also perform at the party.
The NFL also says Phillips will debut a new song at the tailgate. Segments of his and The Band Perry's performances will be broadcast before the Super Bowl.
Yesterday Renee Fleming was announced as the voice of the national anthem, joining halftime headliner Bruno Mars and special guest Red Hot Chili Peppers in the pool of NFL acts.
A concert at Liberty State Park Monday night will also feature The Fray, Daughtry and the Goo Goo Dolls. The Super Bowl Boulevard in New York will host a performance from Blondie, and the pregame party at the Izod Center will have Cyndi Lauper, The Fray and Doug Flutie and the Flutie Gang.
