At the end of the day, money will probably talk. Right now, their careers are fine but in a few years their age will likely be a barrier for work in Hollywood.

Hopefully it'll be a 3 episode arc, or an hour long special. A film doesn't seem appropriate for a sitcom.

They could do something interesting with the characters 10 years down the line, though. 15 years on might be too old. The kids would change things if nothing else - Ben (19), Emma (12), the triplets (16), the twins (10). Their ages would be Rachel (44), Monica (45), Chandler (46), Joey (47), Ross (47) and Phoebe (47). They'd likely have had all their children by now, but maybe they'd chuck in a Rachel (or Monica, for shock) pregnancy.

What I wouldn't be surprised by:

- Joey is a successful actor who moved to Hollywood and lost touch. He is still a bachelor.
- Monica is a TV chef, Chandler is a stay at home Dad in the suburbs with their brood of children.
- Ross and Rachel split up a few years ago. She's been living with Emma in France as the editor-in-chief of Vogue. Ross is still a professor and he is having to deal with Ben coming home from college...surprisingly, with a boyfriend. (Get one of the Sprouse's back)
- Phoebe and Mike are happily married. She now runs a performing arts school and is a total stage mom to her own kids. Mike teachers piano at the school.

What brings them all back together in NYC: Ross and Monica's father has died.

Yeah, they've guested on each other's shows whenever possible:
- Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc have all been on Lisa Kudrow's Web Therapy several times.
- Lisa Kudrow (and James Michael Tyler a.k.a. Gunther) appeared on Matt LeBlanc's Episodes.
- Courteney Cox guested on Matthew Perry's Go On.
- Oh, and Jennifer Aniston was in fact in Cougar Town, and she also guest-starred on Courteney Cox's other (and very short-lived) show, Dirt. I think it's safe to say who's her favorite
