For all of you saying other pop girls are also seen as hypersexual why is Rih seen as particularly hypersexual?
In the media and with the Gp Rihanna is portrayed as an abnormally hypersexual pop star. She is constantly dragged for being a "$lut" and seen as a classless individual despite sporting demure looks and performances when appropriate. The T.V performances during the Unapologetic era serve as a good example of that.
A prime example of this is Beyonce releasing her newest album and being met with complete critical acclaim. However Beyonce, a 32 year old married woman, sings about "Yonce being on her knees", "graining on that wood" with her surfboardT and has a song called Blow that is literally about oral. Like I said, she is met with praise.
Rihanna never released singles like "Your Body" or "Drunk In Love". She never has songs that take it as far as "Sexx Dreams" and never would release a video like Adore You so why is she, of all the pop girls the most criticized?

We've been having an hour-long discussion about this in the base. Do you guys think Rihanna is/would be dragged MORE than her peers for using the same amount of raunchiness? Could Rihanna make a song about giving blowjobs in the back of a limo and be praised for it? What's the difference between "doing too much" and sexual liberation? Why is her confidence and lack of boundaries criticized rather than seen as modern and feminist?
I mean even costume-wise, Rihanna's tour outfits really aren't that different than her peers. Nor are her music videos. If all the girls are using their sexuality, why is it seen as worse when she does it?
