I clicked the link and what stuck out to me was the phrase "forbidden colors" which makes me picture a kinda extremely but not intentionally racist romance novel written or set at least a century ago.

I did try but it wrecked my brain out my head

This reminds me of the novel "The Giver," in which the characters live in a world without color. One person is given the information of previous generations, including color, and when it is passed down to the main character, he expresses how bizarre seeing color is.

How cool would that be>
