When the other person flirts and it makes you jealous, it's sort of a moment when you re-realize your attraction and love for the person. However, I've never understood the one night stands which end up explained as "It just happened", I mean, to have sex with someone else there are so many steps to do that:
1) You have to notice the person
2) You have to start thinking about the person

3) You have to start flirting with the person
4) You have to make out with the person
5) You have to bring the person home, or the person brings you (maybe public bathrooms )
6) You have to get in the same bed with the person
7) You have to both get undressed
8) You start having sex

10) You wake up next to the person

I mean, seriously. How can that be considered as "it just happened?"

Everything up to and including step 4 can 'just happen' though, years and years ago I was in a relationship and I was out with a friend (at a gayparty), we were on our way out and this guy gestures me to come to him...I was gonna ask him what he wanted but he just kissed me out of the blue, hadn't spoken a word to each other, I didn't see it coming, but I did have to tell my boyfriend after Luckily he took it well and wasn't upset. Sex with someone else doesn't 'just happen' though, I agree. That would be a reason to break up, I'd always be reminded of that and the fact he can't be trusted

if you can't mentally stay with a person, you can't physically stay with them; if you're out of it physically, then you're out of the relationship mentally as well
