Britney rejected the original happy birthday but she is charitable so made the lyrics & melody public. It could have been such a huge smash for her. She is so selfless.

She turned down Telephone. I read somewhere that Britney also turned down Milkshake.

She rejected Umbrella and we all know how that one turned out..

Glad she did though, it was a bit ironic

Edit - Her team also rejected Tilt Ya Head Back by Nelly, because he originally wanted Britney on the track, but they felt it was too urban for Britney even though she wanted to do it. So Nelly ended up having Xtina instead, and it was a moderate hit I think.

I can see her singing that.
