Not all of you acting like Avril Lavigne wasn't one of the top girls at her peak. Aside from a string of hits and an album that sold much more, Avril Lavigne managed to start a rock trend on the charts and the flow of bubblegum pop and Hip Hop only dominating the charts was stopped for awhile and Rock was relevant again.

i remember in 2003/2004 when all of the girls in my school were dressing just like avril . i think they're pretty equal but gaga was slightly better
