OMG this is actually major. Like, Sami is so integral to the fabric of Salem. I cannot think of anyone who could be a recast.

How sad. Chandler leaving was a mess because his recast is horrible. No one can even replace Sami though.

Days of Our Lives is DONE without Alison Sweeney in the role of Sami Brady. That is like having All My Children without ERIC KANE.

For some reason, I don't see them recasting Sami. I see them just writing her out. She's one of those characters you just can't recast at this point because she's been on for two decades.

What is this going to mean for her and EJ.? Her kids

Sami was my GIRL back when I watched Days. The show won't be the same without Alison, but after two decades, she deserves a break. I hope they give her a proper send-off!
