In case some of the thirsty messes in here didn't know: Dr Strange is a marvel comic book character that will be getting his own film in Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will more than likely join The Avengers 3 as a core team member. Dr Strange is rumoured to be the central Phase 3 franchise (like Iron Man is Phase 1/2).
Phase 3 is rumoured to have a dark magic theme that follows Phase 1's Earth/technology theme and Phase 2's space theme and the theme rumour is more than likely true after the addition of Scarlet Witch in The Avengers 2, who also deals with a bit of ark magic.
