Not that I'm saying Demi should perform it, but have any of you guys heard her live performances of the song? It's not oversung at all. It almost sounds identical to the studio version.
And let's be honest, Idina's live performance of it was not that great. Her voice isn't what it used to be.

Just accept it that Idina is more deserving to perform it since she sings it in the movie! And the Oscars focuses on the movie, as a whole so why the hell do you guys think Demi should sing this?
