With all signs pointing to Lady Gaga's "Venus" as the third single, do you think its performance on the charts will surprise several people?

It's a playful song by Gaga, who has since achieved only moderate success stemming from her first two singles.

I was once a Venus hater, however 2 months after the album release, it's currently one of the most played tracks off 'ARTPOP'. I've seen people complain about the lyrics of the song, however 'Applause' was worse and it ended up doing pretty well both digitally and on radio for a Gaga song.

No flamebait or anything please. If you do not feel 'Venus' will do well, state why.

I'm split about this because my local radio loves this song and I've seen listeners react positively to it, but on the other side I don't personally think this is hit material.

If it's a single, I'll just be glad she'll finally get it out of her system. Hopefully the video is pleasant to look at.
