the entire song is a mockery of the burqa she's talking about it like she knows **** about being a Muslim wearing a burqa. she's trivializing the experiences of Muslim women for a song that turned out to be sucky in the end and then on top of that she walked around wearing it like it was a cute new handbag
Enigma popstar is fun
She wear burqa for fashion
It's not a statement as much
As just a move of passion
I may not walk on your streets
Or shoot a gun on your soil
She's sort of justifying it. She's not trying to mock it, so much as she likes it and is trying to make it more casual and stop people from bitching about it (first portion of provided lyrics), even though she knows she's not Islamic and probably shouldn't use it (second portion).
Though, the main use of the song is that you can't see women behind the burqa. You can't even see their faces or eyes; she wants people to get to know the girl behind all of that.
The fact that Gaga actually used the word "Orient" is enough for me to consider her a racist. It is worse than "disnigga" which was used as a term of endearment for her kid!
Those are good tracks. THey're not perfect but I can at least get through them not like the aforementioned ones tying down BTW. Even Jewels n Drugs has its moments too
ive always like HU
It used to.be my alarm clock for when I woke up to go to school
Its deff better than Swine and Aura (she ****ed up the verses with that one)

Oriental is considered not politically correct.
The Orient, however, is a part of the world and is obviously not racist.
Actually I'm surprised that I haven't seen much little Judases on that thread. Just Jolie Lips stanning for the WORSE non appealing lyrics on a song ever, according to him at least.
Quote:
DO YOU WANNA SEE ME NAKED LOVER
DO YOU WANNA PEAK UNDERNEATH THE COVER
DO YOU WANNA SEE THE GIRL WHO LIVES BEHIND THE AURA
BEHIND THE AURA BEHIND THE AURA BEHIND THE AURA

but her ass should not be trying to make the burqa more CASUAL period when its something significant to muslim women she had no place doing that. why is she trying to **** with cultures that aren't hers
