This is one of those things you come across and just have to blink a couple times and ask, “is this real?”. In fact it is.
Guillermo Habacuc Vargas had 2 children catch this dog. He paid the kids for this. He then chained the dog and used the dog as “art”. He told everyone not to feed this dog. The dog died in the gallery. He calls himself an artist. I call him an animal abuser. In that event, (in which the dog died) he was chosen to represent his country in the “Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008″.

Stupid artists. How dare he says that a stary dog starves to death????? IN FACT, they get to eat a lot by scavenging!! Believe me, here in the Philippines, stray dogs don't die from starvation, but from car accidents or be eaten by hungry squatters
I remember the Philippines getting a show from Discovery Channel for eating dogs (good thing they made it ILLEGAL now)

I really think most people who call themeselves 'artists' today don't really know what art is... plus, if you want to bring attention to the problem of dogs dying in the streets from hunger, you take one and feed it, not bring it to an exhibition and call its slow and painful death 'art'... that's just stupid and ignorant... people like Da Vinci, Van Gogh, and Michelangelo must be rolling in their graves after hearing that this was called art
