Having an overbearing parent can be a double edged sword. The pressure his father has put on him may be reason why he has honed his talent. But, it looks like too much pressure on a kid already under the microscope can be too much. Michael, Britney anyone?

Not really an excuse. Asia'h was able to perform even though her father died. David Archuleta is SO overrated.
