I can't with so many Directioners trying to skirt around clearly what he was referring to with his tweet. It's pretty clear with how he choose to very pointedly mention "family values" after a very public controversy about this. He has the right to feel whatever he wants and have whatever opinions he wants, but the fact that some of you still insist that there is some other explanation is just too much.

I just decided to ignore his blatant racism and white superiority mentality and the sterotyping of a particular country.Homophobia is not just an African thing,it's also very rampant in the west as seen by the overwehlming outpour of support for duckdynasty.The only diffference between Africa and the western world is that in the later there is censorship of opinions,it doesn't mean that in the western world it's totaly unacceptable to be homophobic.it's quite unfortunate that some people like to believe that homophobia is largely a black thing.
All in all homophobia is not good at all.

This whole thing is so stupid. Like he said ppl read too much into a tweet. Him liking family values doesn't automatically reference their religious views. He could be talking about just the fact that they have a close nit family where they work together and put each other first. But no this website has to jump on the fact that one member of the cast said something "homophobic" so that means any reference to the show or support of the show is homophobic. But what more to expect from a site full of gays posting demeaning things, throwing shade, insulting ppl and sitting criticizing all day being cyber bullies but still taking ppls words and twisting them to be homophobic just so they have an excuse to be intolerant, ignorant, self involved and up in arms/ outraged over nothing
