Loves and respects his gay fans/wishing them the best to their equal rights. I don't want a fake apology if it is just to save face.

It's just damage control & everyone besides his stupid ass stans (who are currently bullying Tyler Oakley on Twitter) will recognize it.

Personally, a sincere apology would earn my respect waaay more so than childish twitter rants.

He said he just saw one episode. He is on tour or something, so I don't think he was aware of the homophobic controversy (the show in itself doesn't show homophobic commentary, as far as I know, it was a magazine interview that caused the drama). He does not need to apologize in this case.
