Im not even a one direction fan or anything, but i dont feel like he did anything wrong. He said he liked a show that had a controversial statement so what. Maybe you guys aren't used to the concept of the freedom of speech. You don't have to like him, but you don't need to last out. OK I'm going back to my fan base where I belong.
And because he said something we also have the right to say something back. But freedom of speech is not up for the discussion - neither of us have done or said anything against the government.
I think it might be less of him being a homophobe than just someone pretty clueless.

He didn't just say he likes the show, he said he respects their family values... Which are homophobic and racist
