Finding Dory or Avatar 2

No movie we know about.

That type of success only comes once every few decades.

IF Episode VII is a return to form for the franchise, it will break every conceivable domestic box office record: Midnight, Opening Day, Weekend, All-Time, you name it. Hell, it will still have a chance to break the first three even if its quality more resembles Phantom Menace than the original trilogy. And it would have a better than average chance of topping $3 billion worldwide. You can quote me on that.

Outside of that, I imagine that Avatar 2 has the best chance, though given the backlash that it spawned, I can't see it happening, either. In other words, unless we get the perfect storm (as was the case with Avatar), I don't really see it happening again anytime soon.

Avatar 2 or whatever James Cameron comes up with next. I mean, no other movie even out grossed Titanic, he had to come in and break his own record. Avengers is sitting at #3 in the WW gross so if any of these films have a chance, it's avengers 2 but it won't even pass Titanic, it might outdo its predecessor though. Finding Dory has a chance at becoming the highest grossing animated film though, that title currently belongs to Toy Story 3 but I think fD has a chance.
