I don't even want to watch this. I love dolphins, such intelligent creatures. The fact that we KNOW they can feel and comprehend emotions makes this all the more awful.

I have mixed feelings on this.

It's horrifically brutal and unnecessary, but I - like most - turn a blind eye to less cute/exotic/intelligent animals being slaughtered and treated awfully. However, they're chiefly doing it to sell them into the abusive entertainment industry and as a food source they're not safe with the mercury levels. Whilst communities will collapse without this, that doesn't exactly excuse or justify the behaviour (case in point - slavery was big business).

Plus, once dolphins are over-farmed there...they're going to demand farming whales again...then they're going to over-farm them...and all the while we'll all be over-farming fish to the point where the marine food-chain will collapse.

I personally don't like animals being killed for anything full stop but this is completely barbaric in ways you obviously don't understand and can't be bothered explaining.

All this unnecessary killing is disgusting. I get that we kill billions of animals for meat anyways but why for fur, dolphins, whales, shark fins etc. Culture and tradition are no excuse
