It has a bright side, too. I'm an atheist but I think that some faith could help bad moments in human's life. It can also control people's lives in a positive way. For example, it tells that murdering other people is a bad thing.

If religion was just about love, then I would agree. It does help people, it does give people hope etc. But I think it causes more than . Think of all the people that died or killed for religion through out history all the millions of people killed because of Islam...

To be honest, anyone after something hard (cocaine, meth etc.) could have written it 2000 years ago (or whenever it had been written). A book that says a man is allowed to have multiple wives; and every fanatic truly believing that the population of Earth REALLY started with two people, claiming God wanted Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve - the main point against gays.
