This argument is such a farce. "n*gga" doesn't need to be reappropriated. It's just a benign derivative of "n*gger". Fact is, "n*gger" can NEVER be reappropriated. It's too loaded.
A black person calling a person a "n*gger" still carries harsh, negative connotations. I've heard black mothers tell their disobedient kids to stop acting like "n*ggers" and black people trash talking each other by calling the annoying person a "nigg-er".
Take this case of a black person who sued another black person for calling them a "n*gger":

As far as technicality goes, "n*gga" can be used by anyone. As far as formality goes, it depends who the non-black person is using the word around. But get this: "N*GGER" will
never be "reappropriated".
