the question is just asking if you're positive or negative.
if you think the glass is half full you're a positive person
and if you think the glass if half empty you're a negative person
half empty for me.

"Half empty" sounds ridiculous. I have never heard anyone refer to a glass as "half empty" before those silly psychological/personality test.
