It's hilarious Beyoncé tried to downplay the importance of singles because she was unable to get a successful one during the 4 era. It's not like she didn't try. She performed RTW on every show and dropped a big budget video only for it to flop. Then she kept pumping out singles and videos trying to get them to stick.
