BJ is my least favorite but not disappointing. I expected that kind of album.

I don't really care for any album out of this list though, except for BEYONCÉ and 20/20 and those were not really disappointing.

Britney Jean and Avril Lavigne.
I love a few songs on Britney Jean but as a whole its not at all what they were hyping it up to be, a lot of unmelodic/generic EDM songs that are production over melody.

AL was a step down from Goodbye Lullaby IMO. I thought Goodbye Lullaby was great, she sounded amazing on it….AL has her singing in that shouty tone for most of the album and I just found it weak

Britney Jean - even though she has nothing to prove, I really got disappointed with the qualuty of the songs in the album.
Bangerz - I was expecting for less songs about partying
Demi - As a stan, I like the album. But what disappointed me was the overproduction of the songs in the album. She said the album would be about real instruments but I guess her label didn't like it when she sampled them.

I actually grew to love all of the albums that in the poll, even the ones that heavily disappointed me at first. Biggest letdowns for me this year were Jay-Z's Magna Carta and Eminem's Marshall Mathers II LP (although that always happens with Eminem albums; I get excited then listen and am disappointed.. I'll never learn I guess )

EDIT: I love all the albums except Avril Lavigne.. Haven't heard hers so I can't really say I'm disappointed by it I do like Rock N Roll tho!

ARTPOP. The entire world, her fanbase, & critics everywhere agree. No hits, 87% drop, mocked/hated by the media, put her label $25 mill in debt, etc. Nothing else can top this.

Justin and Gaga.

Considering it was going to be Justin's big return, I was pretty disappointed that he simply made a reductive FS/LS, with annoyingly long songs.

Gaga, too, was supposed to have a massive return after BTW, and instead just made a mediocre, dated electronic/dance album that wasn't special or interesting at all. I had and have no desire to listen to it again, and, unlike Born This Way, it doesn't even have that one (or two) song(s) that I somewhat ashamedly use.

I would put BJ, but I wasn't expecting much anyways, and even it has 2-3 songs I use.

I expected more from Brit's producers (I shouldn't have, considering WIll.I.Am), and more from the album following TD.

JT's 20/20 was pretty disappointing too, since it just felt like a dated Timbaland circle jerk.

ARTPOP and Bangerz

Bangerz was immensely disappointing..

Britney Jean was disappointing as well.

I was really anticipating the return of Britneys urban sound and when I heard Britneys jeans and the non existent urban sounds I was really disappointed, though I still enjoy the album. I also expected Bangerz to be better, I only really use like 5 songs from it.

Gaga. She managed to deliver the most disappointing album release in 2011 & 2013. She really needs to get it together though I'm afraid it's too late.
