I loved Meryl's performance in A-OC. I thought it was brilliant how she injected (biting) humor in such a serious film. The entire dinner table scene is much better than AngeliNO's filmography.
Did you see that Godney kind of slayed Vegas with her boxscores?
Nada. The media is still using that same (iconic) picture of Deadryl for the 'Most Anticipated Movies of 2014' lists. All the Disney news as of late has been re: Marvel and Star Wars.
Nobody went to see Snow White on account of Kristen Stewart. Charlize, Hemsworth, and most importantly the story recognition/visuals were all more significant factors.
If anything, Kristen's involvement hurt its commercial prospects cuz even before the affair reveal her target demo disliked her.
Chris Pine did say this re: ITW in a Jack Ryan interview:
"One of the best experiences to date of my professional career," Pine told OTRC.com. "It's stunning. It's going to look beautiful ... I think it's quite extraordinary. I don't wanna jinx anything but it was so much fun to make. It felt like a real kind of summer stock theatre company getting together. It was just great fun."
I had the worst day of my life 2 days ago, literally. A never-ending nightmare. So I decided to have something to drink and just chill for a second at a cafe around the corner and try finish a project I was working on, and when I thought it couldn't get any worse, this guy with the most annoying face I've ever seen had a Demi Lovato playlist blasting off his headphones, and he was singing along to Heartattack. I couldn't hear or focus on anything BUT that unbearable brain-numbing NOISE.
Although Mamma Mia is not one of the movies for which Meryl received one of her record breaking 18 nominations, it still outgrossed every Angelina movie.
