I suppose I agree with Cate being better in "Jasmine" than Julia in "August" (although I believe Cate's Australian/British-tinged accent helps her out a lot). It's just that, personally, Cate Blanchett's performance didn't stick with me after the film. I still think about Julia Robert's performance in "August-Osage County." It was a very strong, and
distinct performance as opposed to Cate Blanchett's performance in "Blue Jasmine," which was also strong, but arguably forgettable.
